Valentine's Day and White Day in Japan Part.1

We have a day called "White Day" on just one month after Valentine's Day, which is 14th March.
(Actually the past mass media and merchants made the day for a business marketing.)

Well, however, I didn't know that other Asian countries have the White Day as well until I click the Wikipedia page I linked.

First, in Japan, Valentine's day is very different from the one in the U.S. and the other christian countries. It is the day that a girl gives her hand-made chocolate based cakes or cookies to lovers. Sometimes "lovers" don't mean couples. This is because a girl can open her minds and tell her feelings for the first time to the boy she loves, just like "i wanna date you."
I know that's kinda weird, why girls have to tell first and boys are just waiting... grrr, oh well.

Anyways, therefore we have a White day that a boy gives his feelings back to a girl who gave chocolates or cakes, with telling her "Thanks and love you" or anything for the situation.

I gave my bf some hand-made muffins and a healthy smoothie making kit.

   I made them so quick while he was going out with his friends because these were kinda for a surprise.
The surfaces were a little bit crushed but I did it! 

After work at 9 pm I started to make them... I remember I was super tired lol

It is a powdery smoothie kit. 

My bf is lately working out a lot and being on diet. 

So, I chose this one, which is the best chosen on some of the Internet websites.

A tall cup is in it, so that put and shake it with milk or water. We prefer soy milk better though.

These are my Valentine's gifts for my bf, and my surprise was successful!! Yay :) 

Oh the muffins were yummy yeah! haha
